Well, my title in the Order of the Crystal was skekGra the Conqueror. You're only a child, so I won't go into details, but I'm sure you can imagine the kind of things I did.

As in - wars? Conquest? But soldiers aren't - evil. They fight for a cause, whether it's good or bad.

I don't mean that your cause w-was bad, because I have no idea!

I conquered Thra for my emperor, by any means necessary - lies, cheating, killing. The cause was bad and the emperor evil. I had some doubts even then, which makes it worse. Part of me knew it was wrong, but I did it anyway, and my actions helped destroy balance in Thra.

But that's enough about me. I forgot to introduce myself - I am skekGra the Heretic.

What did you do, small one? If you don't mind telling me.

I--- is it okay if I just say I committed treason? Th-that's a thing.

But that's the only way! Nobody helped. I tried and tried a-asking! They all abandoned me! You don't know how it is. You have an army or something, do you, or... I don't know. I had to do something, even if it wasn't - good!

Treason? Well - I am a Heretic and work against my former Emperor, so by a certain definition I committed treason, too.

I understand. Patience isn't something I'm especially good at, either. But it seems like your choice to commit treason cost you a great deal, and you aren't happy with what you did. But the question is - what are you going to do now with your feelings? I can't tell you what to do, but I suggest you think carefully before you make a choice.
